Biografia e foto di Tony Daniel

J. Anthony Daniel, nato a Tuscaloosa nello stato dell'Alabama il 25 novembre 1963, è un editore, poeta e uno scrittore americano di fantascienza. Dopo essere stato caporedattore di Baen Books, nel periodo 2006-2011 è stato docente di fantascienza e letteratura, sceneggiature e workshop di scrittura presso la Texas Univercity a Dallas mentre attualmente è senior editor presso Regnery Publishing. Il suo primo racconto di fantascienza, The Passage of Night Trains, è stato pubblicato nel 1990 al quale sono vari romanzi, racconti, poesie, critiche letterarie e recensioni.

I suoi racconti sono apparsi numerose volte nelle antologie Gardner Dozois' The Year's Best Science Fiction, e con il racconto Life on the Moon ha ricevuto una nomination al premio Hugo per la migliore short story nel 1996 e ha vinto nello stesso anno il premio Reader Choice di Asimov.
