William Rotsler - Biografia
Charles William Rotsler, nato a Los Angeles in California il 3 luglio 1926 e morto il 18 ottobre 1997, è stato scultore, pittore, disegnatore, regista, operatore cinematografico e scrittore di fantascienza americano. Artista fino al midollo e profondo conoscitore dell'arte in genere, Rotsler è arrivato piuttosto tardi alla science fiction diventando uno degli autori più singolari ed interessanti della novelle vague fantascientifica a stelle e strisce. Messosi in luce nel 1972 con il racconto Patron of the Arts, un'originale elaborazione di una nuova forma d'arte trattata con sofisticata eleganza letteraria, ha scritto poi vari romanzi di successo dei quali molti ancora inediti in Italia. |
