Note biografiche e bibliografia di Jessie Douglas Kerruish
Jessie Douglas Kerruish nata a Seaton Carew near Hartlepool nella contea di Durham nel 1884 e morto a Hove nel Sussex nel 1949 è stata una scrittrice inglese di fantascienza. All'inizio della sua carriera scrisse racconti con elementi fantasy, alcuni di questi racconti vennero riuniti nella raccolta Babylonian Nights' Entertainments: A Selection of Narratives from the Text of Certain Undiscovered Cuneiform Tablets del 1934. Il suo unico romanzo di fantascienza, The Undying Monster: A Tale of the Fifth Dimension del 1922 in cui narra di un lupo mannaro, trattando in maniera scientifica la sua abilità di mutare forma, che viene temporaneamente curata con l'ipnotismo. |

Dal romanzo uscirà nel 1942 il film diretto da John Brahm The Undying Monster, conosciuto anche come The Hammond Mystery, nel quale il lupo mannaro viene ucciso nel finale.
